Despite the popularity of Virgin America and the clearly superior product, we encountered a number of markets that were controlled by a single, dominant legacy airline. The integrated Switch to Virgin America campaign was designed to both provoke the giant and to educate the good people of Dallas Fort-Worth as to what they were missing. We kicked off the campaign by inviting some of these Virgin America virgins to test and compare our flights against theirs.
