I’m currently Head of Design at Barrett Hofherr in San Francisco. Prior to that I co-ran DIG, the Design and Innovation Group at Eleven in San Francisco, from 2020–2022. I was also an Associate Partner and Creative Director at Eleven beginning in 2003. While at Eleven, I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients including Barclay’s Global Investors, Gallo, Getaround, Google, JSX, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Pella, Treasury Wine Estates and Visa. For nearly a decade, my primary focus was working with the San Francisco-based airline, Virgin America. My team and I established their visual language when they launched in the US and in the years following created many award-winning campaigns and stunts finally ending with their acquisition. // Prior to Eleven, I was an integral part of the venerable San Francisco design firm, Oh Boy, A Design Company. In addition to design and creative direction responsibilities at Oh Boy, I also oversaw the development and production of the company’s multi-million dollar proprietary line of stationery products, Oh Boy Artifacts. // My work has been published in Communication Arts, Condé Nast Traveler, Graphis, Martha Stewart Living, The New York Times and Wallpaper*; and has received top honors from Creativity, D&AD, FWA and The One Show. // If encouraged, I’ll grouse about how they used to make things that would last forever and give you a test ride in my ’69 F100. I’m an avid photographer, wood-turner and product design wonk and I like to run trails. I live in Oakland, California with my partner and our four dogs, Bella, Weezy, Hildy and Bug.
