Public Architecture set out to put the resources of architecture in the service of public interest. The San Francisco based nonprofit identifies and solves practical problems of human interaction in the built environment and acts as a catalyst for public discourse through education, advocacy and the design of public spaces and amenities. It's flagship program, 1+ connects nonprofits with pro bono architecture and design services. The first and largest pro bono service network within the architecture and design professions, 1+ challenges the design community worldwide to dedicate one percent or more of working hours to pro bono service. I designed the new logo and associated brand materials, some of which was produced, some shelved for future needs.
