Old Trestle was built to celebrate the rich history of Truckee, California and the modern drive to experiment, not just in the brand story but in the spirits themselves. Based in the heart of the Sierra Mountains, Old Trestle Distillery combines the best of the past with an innovative forward-looking passion to produce world-class products and experiences from the source of the world’s best water. They wanted a reason to enjoy a good drink with friends, colleagues, and family a little more often.
We catered to the consumer’s pioneering spirit to bridge the stories that built this brand to the new and constantly evolving world. We wanted to inspire fearless experimentation, so we spoke to those individuals who honored tradition and approach everything—from art to food—with an interest in context. Our target had the mind of a scientist and the heart of a pioneer. They wanted to feel the magic in their spirits. We created a brand look and feel that learned from the stories of history to make the future. To pay homage to the spirits of the Sierras, we adopted a Fire + Ice + Earth (Whiskey, Vodka, Gin) visual language.
