When we started working with Bonafide, they didn’t even have a name, just a smart but unwieldy descriptor: “A standard-based information exchange for validated content and data between Generative AI platforms and commercial enterprises.” Great business. Tough name. We landed on Bonafide, Latin for “in good faith.” Next, we built the identity. Bonafide is a loyal companion in AI alignment, so our logo features a Border Collie named Fido, the world’s smartest working dog. Border Collies keep livestock safe; Bonafide keeps information flows healthy. An intelligent companion that guides data, Bonadfide is an always-on, hardworking, watchful guardian.
